New home construction really started to get traction in the Woodward Corridor and Royal Oak in particular as we came out of the housing recession of 2005-2011. The Gilson Home Group has assisted many families to select builders, lots, and design of homes from that time through today. One of our favorite homes was a custom build home in Royal Oak.

The property located at 603 N. Gainsborough was envisioned as a home that has the elusive attached garage - the best of finishes inside, a work from home office that allowed the owner to have professional clients into the residence while secluding the main living areas in a tasteful manner. The owner, HIllan Homes and the Gilson Home Group worked through the details and delivered a home that lived a very refined lifestyle, without having massive unused spaces. Thought and attention to detail provided a finished product that lives a luxury lifestyle in a relatively intimate space, while allowing professional clients to enter the home as well.
